Finding reliable broadcast talent for esports events has always been a grind. Organizers scramble through Discord servers and personal networks. Talented casters, observers, and producers struggle to get discovered and get paid fairly. Existing freelance platforms weren't built for the unique needs of live broadcast production, the tight turnaround, the specialized roles, and the need for trust between parties who've never worked together.
What we built
Standby is a purpose-built marketplace for esports broadcast talent. We connect working broadcast talent (casters, observers, producers, audio techs, replay operators, and stage managers) with organizations running events, leagues, and broadcast productions. Paid bookings are held in escrow, profiles show roles, rates, and credits, and our flat 8% fee means no surprises.
