Hire talent by role

Booked staff, escrowed pay, in three steps

  1. Post and review

    Describe your event and the roles you need. Talent apply, and you choose who to book.

  2. Fund escrow

    When you accept a talent, you fund the booking and Standby holds the payment in escrow via Stripe. It is released to the talent after the event wraps.

  3. Broadcast and release

    Go live. Once the booking is marked complete, payment releases automatically after a 7-day dispute window, unless a dispute is opened.

Escrow on paid bookings

The org funds the booking when it's confirmed. Standby holds it, not the org. Talent gets paid automatically after the event, so nobody has to chase an invoice.

Credits and reviews

Profiles list past credits and work samples. After a completed booking, talent and orgs review each other, and ratings only come from completed bookings.
